Cortijo Juarez

The house was renovated using many recycled materials and locally produced products. There is a solar energy system installed, as the house is located off the main electricity grid, but does have mains water supply. There is a solar hot water system for domestic hot water and a wood-burning stove with a back boiler, which supplies additional hot water in the winter months. Under floor heating installed in all the ground floor rooms, except the larder, with thermostats to control individual areas.
